What the desk takes at doctoral level
Coursework, in every form the Ed.D. asks for it. The specializations ACE runs include curriculum and instruction, early childhood, instructional technology, literacy, special education, public health education, leadership and nursing education, and the writers are matched to the field rather than to the level alone.
- Course assessments and applied papers where a doctoral position has to be argued rather than reported.
- Literature reviews and syntheses that group sources by argument instead of listing them by author.
- Methodology write ups: design justified, sampling explained, limitations stated without hedging into meaninglessness.
- Position and policy papers where the rubric expects a stance the writer is willing to defend.
- Presentations and their speaker notes, when a course asks for the argument delivered aloud rather than submitted.
What it does not take
The boundary is firmer at this level, not softer, because doctoral work is the place where students are most often sold something indefensible.
- No committee or chair meeting is attended by anyone here, in your name or otherwise.
- No defense is sat, rehearsed on your behalf or represented.
- No data is collected from real participants, and no ethics or review submission is prepared as though it came from you.
- Nothing is signed, and nothing is entered into any system: work is emailed to you and you submit it.
What is left is still most of the workload: the reading, the synthesis and the writing that a full time job makes impossible to do at the pace a ten week term demands.
Doctoral codes are not on the grid yet
The cells on this site cover 4000 and 5000 level courses, the RN to BSN, M.Ed., MHA and MBA sequences that most students arrive looking for. Doctoral codes are quoted on request instead: send the code, the module and the assessment instructions through the request form and it is handled exactly as a filed course would be, free first sample included.
Where the pressure actually lands in ten weeks
Ten weeks does not feel like double five. The reading front loads, the major deliverable sits at the end, and the middle third is where most Ed.D. students quietly fall behind because nothing is due yet. Orders here are scheduled against that shape: the literature work early, the argument drafted while there is still room to change it, the final build assembled from pieces you have already read rather than delivered as a surprise in week nine.
If you are also carrying master's level courses or coming from the MSN side, say so at intake so the two calendars are planned together.

Questions students ask first
My course code is a 6000 number and there is no cell for it.
That is expected. The grid stops at the 5000 level for now, and doctoral courses are quoted from the code and the instructions you send instead. Nothing about the process changes.
Is doctoral work quoted differently from master's work?
Yes, higher, and for a reason you can verify by reading a rubric: the sourcing standard, the length and the depth of argument are all further along. It is quoted per deliverable rather than per course, so you can hand over one and judge for yourself.
Does the desk write dissertation chapters?
Coursework and the writing that supports it, yes. What is refused is anything that pretends the study itself was conducted by someone other than you: no fabricated data, no invented participants, no analysis of results that were never collected.
Will an Ed.D. assessment read differently from a master's one?
Noticeably. Doctoral drafts argue with the literature instead of summarizing it, name their theoretical frame and defend a position under stated limitations. That register difference is the main thing a doctoral grader is reading for.
I am in the nursing education specialization. Who writes that?
A writer who holds graduate nursing qualifications and works on the education side of the desk, because that specialization asks for curriculum and teaching reasoning applied to clinical content rather than to a school classroom.
Ten weeks is longer. Can the whole course be handed over at once?
Yes, and it is the better arrangement at this level. A full course order is scheduled with interim delivery dates so you read each piece as it lands, rather than meeting the whole term's writing for the first time near its deadline.
